Approach to therapy
Life can become overwhelming when anxiety, ADHD/AuDHD, past trauma, relationship difficulties, or major transitions begin interfering with your well-being and daily functioning. You may feel as though you are doing everything you can to keep moving forward while still feeling stuck, uncertain, or unseen. You do not have to work through those challenges by yourself. I support individuals, couples, and families seeking greater understanding, healthier relationships, and a clearer path forward.
Our work will focus on recognizing the emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns that may no longer be serving you. Together, we will build upon your existing strengths, develop practical coping skills, and create realistic strategies that support meaningful and sustainable change. I use evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to your experiences, needs, and personal goals.
My therapeutic style is warm, honest, and direct. I strive to create a supportive environment where you feel genuinely heard while also being encouraged to grow. We will move at a pace, and establish real goals, that respects where you are while remaining focused on meaningful progress, greater confidence, and skills you can continue using well beyond the therapy room.
TEricka Ringler, LCSw
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University. I have been providing counseling and diagnostic services for over 13 years. As a U.S. Army veteran, I bring a personal understanding of military culture, as well as professional experience working alongside the U.S. Air Force and joint-service communities in a civilian capacity.
Throughout my career, I have provided services to both military-connected and civilian individuals and families. My experience includes supporting people navigating anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, trauma, substance/addictive behaviors and continued recovery, as well as relationship/family dynamics and major life transitions.
I have worked across a variety of levels of care, including hospital-based, inpatient, outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings. This diverse background has given me a broad perspective on how mental health, relationships, family dynamics, personal experiences, and life circumstances can intersect.
I also recognize that not every challenge requires clinical intervention. In addition to clinical counseling, I provide non-therapeutic counseling services for individuals navigating relationship concerns, professional challenges or transitions, and other significant life changes. This work is practical and forward-focused, offering clients a supportive space to clarify their goals, strengthen communication, make informed decisions, and develop purposeful next steps.
Across both clinical and non-therapeutic services, I offer thoughtful, individualized support grounded in compassion, honesty, and practical guidance.
